3D Secure: verification on every card payment
All card payments go through strong customer authentication (3D Secure), as required by European regulations (PSD2). In practice, your bank asks you to confirm the purchase — through its mobile app or a one-time code — before the payment is approved. Even if your card details were stolen, no transaction could go through without that validation.
Your data is protected
The entire smarty.paris site runs over HTTPS: everything exchanged between your browser and our store is encrypted. Payments are processed directly by Stripe and PayPal, providers certified to banking-industry security standards (PCI DSS). Smarty Paris never stores your card numbers.

No. Your card details are entered in a secure environment managed by the payment provider and are never saved on our servers.
What if my payment is declined?
